Simple Butter Cake

Just a really simple butter cake with no fat milk.

I prefer homemade ones because the sweetness is JUST right!

A simple butter cake... but I simply LOVE it! It was moist... spongy and YUMMY. I was alocated a 4cm by 3cm piece for SMOKO the next day... it took me 1 whole minute to enjoy. Arrr...How i wish i have another slice...*day-dreaming*

I always follow these general rules i learnt from a pastry chef:

Weight of sugar is equal or less than weight of flour

Weight of eggs is equal or greater than weight of fat

Weight of liquids (egg and milk) is equal to weight of flour

1 - 1 1/4 teaspoons of baking powder for each cup of flour

I'm never fond of cakes. 2 slices is the max for me. But this butter cake is prefect! Ate 2 slices on sun, another 2 on mon for dinner, another 2 for lunch and I want MORE... heehee..
